If someone at your station has produced or will be producing a news, interview or feature story which may be of interest to the LGBTQ community, please let us know! We’re a woefully underfunded nonprofit and can only reimburse minor expenses, but we do offer a considerably larger number of ears (TWO airs on 200+ stations around the world) for locally produced material. Please email Coordinating Producer Greg Gordon at TWOradio@aol.com. Thanks!

On the air since April 1988, “This Way Out” is the multi-award-winning internationally distributed weekly LGBTQ radio newsmagazine.  The program currently airs on more than 200 local community radio stations around the world, is globally distributed at www.radio4all.net, to Pacifica Radio station affiliates in North America via Audioport, and in Australia via the Community Radio Network. Listeners can also hear “This Way Out” via our podcasts at www.thiswayout.org, or on iTunes, Soundcloud, or Stitcher; across Europe, Africa/the Middle East, and Asia/Pacific regions on the World Radio Network (www.wrn.org); and on postal-mailed audio CDs by subscription.

When “This Way Out” was created back in 1988, among other goals, to serve as a way for local LGBTQ radio show producers to share their material with wider audiences.  These days it’s difficult to find folks who don’t require financial compensation (but justifiably so).  But we continue to be an underfunded volunteer-driven charitable nonprofit operation, and we know that even in 2017 there are still brilliant people producing brilliant local queer radio shows who might want to share their work with many more ears around the world. Thank you if you can help us return to our program content ”roots.”
